Invitation to meeting of the Representative Council

The next meeting of HUMAKO’s Representative Council will be held on Tuesday, 6 October at 5:00 p.m. in Helsinki at Valkea Talo (Ilkantie 4, 00400 Helsinki).

“The 2026 term of the Representative Council has not gone according to plan. There have been challenges, but we have overcome them. At the spring meeting, the Representative Council was unable to approve the financial statements and the annual report for 2025. The Representative Council will meet on 6 October to decide on the outstanding matters.

Some of the student representatives are already nearing the end of their studies and have therefore requested to resign from the Representative Council. The Vice Chair of the Board has also requested to step down from the position of Vice Chair after starting employment as part of HUMAKO’s fantastic staff team.

The Representative Council would like to encourage the student representatives in completing their studies and congratulate Miia Korhonen on her new employment contract.” – Juha-Matti Mustonen, Chair of the Representative Council

The meeting will address the matters that were not decided at the spring meeting:

  • The 2025 annual report and operational audit report
  • The 2025 financial statements and auditor’s report
  • Granting discharge from liability to the 2025 Board and other persons responsible for the accounts

In addition, the meeting will address the following matters:

  • Granting resignation from the Representative Council to two student representatives
  • Granting resignation to HUMAKO’s Vice Chair of the Board
  • Electing a new Vice Chair of the Board for the remainder of the 2026 term
  • Updates from HUMAKO’s Board

All HUMAKO members are warmly welcome to attend the meeting as observers. We kindly ask participants to register in advance with the Executive Director – please register no later than 4 October.

Introduce yourself – use your own name as your visitor name.
Please remember that you only have the right to observe the meeting.
