Jere Liitiäinen has been appointed as HUMAKO’s new Executive Director!
Jere started in his new role on September 15, 2025. HUMAKO warmly welcomes Jere and also wishes to thank outgoing Executive Director Suvi Torikka for her long and distinguished service at HUMAKO.

Jere brings with him a diverse background in the student movement, both as an employee and as an active member.
“It’s amazing to become part of HUMAKO’s team to develop student advocacy, services, and especially wellbeing! I’m truly excited about the new challenges ahead and grateful to HUMAKO for the trust.” Jere says.
